As I was playing some very familiar African songs during some arts & craft time, the children sang along. It was very beautiful and many smiles where shared. This young girl, proudly held her “thank you” card in the right spot. We donated card stock (paper) and markers, and other art materials to the school I visited near Jinja, Uganda.

This is a photo I took while a handful of young people at the orphanage helped separate the good beans from the bad. It took a long time but we had a lot of good conversations. Every now and then, for fun, a bad bean would bounce off of someones head – you had to guess who threw it. Many laughs.
